Heres some good advice from one artist to another, use reference when drawing. At least while your still learning. I find it much easier to draw believable poses for my characters if I'm looking at a friend acting it out or from a photo online or reference book. Here is a list of the books I use often when drawing both animals and humans:

- MANGA POSE RESOURSE BOOK Vol. 1 Basic Poses
This is full of human poses, standing, sitting jumping etc. Great for character biography pics and if your just starting out with anatomy.

- MANGA POSE RESOURSE BOOK Vol. 2 Animals
I use this for animal reference or when i'm making up mythical creatures. I love this book its crammed full of all the animals you can think of in various poses. No fish or birds though.

- MANGA POSE RESOURSE BOOK Vol. 3 Action Scenes
This is a brilliant book. My favourite in the series! Full of poses such as fighting, swinging and strange poses that are hard to get someone to pose for. Lol!

- THE COMPLETE COSTUME HISTORY
I just got this book today, but I have hired it from my library a few times. Its a huge hardback book with thousands of costume designs from every era and country. Lots of inspiration for when your choosing a costume for your character.

- THE PICTURE BOOK Contemporary Illustration
This is mainly for my uni course, but I recomend it to everyone interested in art and design.

GENII

I'm working on a manga at the moment, so that will explain the lack of uploads and non-genii related artwork. Keep checking for updates on this as I'll be adding the first chapter up soon. It has zombies and magic in it!!! Ooooo ahhhh! I'll probably make a website just for Genii, so I'll let you know when that happens too.

P.s. I want a fan art section so fancy drawing Genii or some of the others?
